To all Argan Oil users out there. Please read labels very carefully. Argan Oil products sold on HSN have many other ingredients in them -- Argan Oil is certainly not high on the list. Buyer Beware!! Our Argan Oil is 100% Organic - Cold pressed. As pure as it can be. Don't be fooled.

Treat Yourself yo Your Own Homemade Exfoliant

1. Corn flour scrub. For oily skin

2 Tbs. corn flour
apple juice(enough to create a paste)

Mix ingredients and apply to face. Massage gently in a circular motion. Splash with warm water to remove, then cool water to help close pores.

2. Oatmeal facial scrub. Good for sensitive skin.

1/2 cup uncooked oats (for finer scrub you can blend into powder)
1 Tbs. honey(if you use ground up oats you may want to adjust honey)

Mix ingredients together to form a paste. Massage into face and neck. Let scrub sit on skin for 10-15 minutes before rinsing.

3. Argan oil and sugar scrub. Great for dry skin!

1 tbs. sugar
few drops Argan oil

Blend together both ingredients adding a few drops of oil at a time to form a spreadable paste. Gently massage into skin. Rinse with warm water.

We are thinking of expanding from just the Argan Oil to a whole line of Organic products. I am currently doing my research and certainly would like some guidance. What is most important to you? It is amazing to me how so many people are willing to jeapodize their health in order to look "beautiful". They are using toxic injections, skin care full of chemicals that may be dangerous, implants, etc. We are seeing an increase in pancreatic and liver cancers. I think it is partly due to all the chemicals we are putting into our bodies. The pancreas and liver are our body's filter system and it seems to me we are ingesting way too many toxins for them to do their job. Let me know you thoughts. Any products we produce would come with Argan Oil -- which I think is the only thing we all need however, it seems more people think they need other things as well. To that end, we are exploring organic, non-toxic skin care. So long for now!!

While including Argan oil is a good thing, including all the other chemicals and preservatives should be a major concern. Argan oil in its natural organic state needs nothing else in it. It has all the major components and vitamins necessary to improve the appearance of your skin, nails and hair.

Also, on another major shopping network, a person who is selling her 100% organic, toxic free line (great idea and one that we are seriously considering ourselves) seems to think Argan oil comes from a plant that grows in the Mojave Desert. Basically, you should be very careful about using harmful chemical products on your skin and in your hair. They can be more harmful than good and any improvement in appearance is probably transient. Silicone products can suffocate the skin and hair, although you might like the way they make you look. But, in many cases, you can get the same look and appearance simply by using a natural product, like organic Argan oil.
